Dallas Designer Jan Showers' Furniture Collection

Jan Showers is such a prominent designer that you've most likely seen photos of some of her interiors.  Did you know that she designs furniture and accessories that are available to the trade in showroms across the country?  Take a look at these gorgeous pieces.

My two favorites are the coffee table and the console table.  All of them are lovely.  Here are some of the beautiful interiors she's created.

I like this last room best.  The clean, crispness with the pops of color are so appealing.  Which is your favorite?

Incredible eBay Find -- Chinoiserie Friedman Brothers Pagoda Mirror

A beautiful mirror creates such an impact and really brings a room together.  This Chinoiserie mirror made by Friedman Brothers is fabulous.  I'd love to see it on a pink wall paired with a black Parsons console table with huge blue and white ginger jars  both on and underneath the table.  It retails for 5150.00, and is on eBay for 1695.00.  It's 60 inches tall and 33 inches wide.  It would be an incredible focal point in an entry, a dining room, living room or powder.  I LOVE that pagoda element at the top!

Lost Antiques, Dallas, TX

Lost Antiques is an antique mall on the periphery of the Design District in Dallas.  There are lots of great booths with lots of great finds.  I have a space at Lost, and here are a few of the fun items I have there.

Abstract Art on Etsy

With having a store on Etsy, I'm obviously an Etsy fan.  There are so many incredibly talented artists represented there.  One of my favorite search catagories on Etsy is abstract art.  Just look at the beautiful choices available.

Chinoiserie - Traditional or Modern?

Don't you think a black chest with a gold mirror always looks fantastic in an entry?  Or anywhere else for that matter.   I think the combination is beautiful.  I came across two chests and two mirrors on 1st Dibs that I'm crazy about.  Even though they create two completely different looks, I'd be thrilled to have either.  If you were to win a 1st Dibs giveaway (wish there were one) which would you choose?

I'm loving everything green right now, so that's my favorite.  Which one do you like?

Diamond Baratta on One Kings Lane tomorrow!

The design team Diamond and Baratta are one of my favorites.  Long before the use of bold color became commonplace in interior design, they were busy creating incredibly colorful interiors.  For years I've been intrigued with the way they use traditional architecture, furniture, and accessories with unique, saturated color palettes.  I also love the very eclectic rooms they've created using elements of Mid-Century, Hollywood Regency and Palm Beach Style.

I'm so excited to see that Diamond Baratta will have a sale on One Kings Lane tomorrow.   Rugs and wallpaper will be featured.  Don't miss it!

Carolyne Roehm's George III Mirror (Get the Look)

Carolyne Roehm's book A Passion for Blue & White, is inspiring. I never tire of the beautiful photographs.  This is one of my favorites.  I love the mix of the ornate George III mirror with the simplicity and bold blue color in the room.

This Friedman Brothers mirror, at 40 inches wide and 60  inches tall, would give you the same look and retails for $5000.  It's for sale on eBay for $1,795.00.  While still pricey, with the quality Friedman Brothers produces, and the incredible focal point it would create, it is tempting.

Here's another stunning George III mirror from de Gournay.  The price is not available online, but I can imagine that it far exceeds the eBay option!
