Color Happy

5.01.2012

Beth, of Chinoiserie Chic, posted some of these colors on her blog as fantastic paint color inspiration for us when we happen upon an amazing find that needs a new coat or two.  I asked her where she found the beautiful color and she sent me to look at Lilly Pulitzer fabric books online.  If any of you have seen many of my prints you won't be a bit surprised I love these colors.  Lina, an interior designer and customer realized right away that my prints would work with Lily fabrics.  She sent me a link that took me to a site where I could see the fabric in her daughter's room.  I did some custom color for her and you can see the result below.

These 10 photos are from High Point 2010 where The Lilly Pulitzer Home Collection made its debut.

This is from the New York Store.

This is a house just a couple of blocks south of me.  Ann Fox is the designer, and you can see there's plenty of Lilly influence here.  D Home did an interesting feature on the house that you can see here.

So, what do you think of all of this color?

Now I could live with this all day long. It feels Palm Beach and fun.....only I would be living alone. My family could handle a pop here and there, but not the WOWZA that I would want. Love all of this!!

I love Lilly everything. I don't know if I could do an entire house in Lilly unless it was at the beach or some tropical destination but I would love a piece or two.

I am punch drunk from your post! Lilly was rad this High Point. Refreshingly they used several Waverly fabric on some "up" pieces ~ way cool. On the sly shot some pix but the Lilly Lady following us around was enforcing the "no pix" rule. Would show on my site but might get shut down..... They will surface as it was fabulously fab! I dream in Tecni-Lilly Color!
