One Room Challenge Week Six

Thank you for checking in on my Week Six of the One Room Challenge.  If you missed Week One, go here, Week Two is here, Week Three is here, Four here and Five here.  If you're coming in new, Linda, of My Crafty Home Life, created and organized the ORC, and I'm happy to be participating.  The twenty bloggers seen above are redoing one room each in six weeks and posting progress every Wednesday.  I'm transforming my breakfast room.

Then went to this...

And now this.

I was going to do a plate display here, but as you can see, I already have plates hanging in the kitchen. So. I decided to go another route.   Whenever I print and ship the China lady and man I want them for myself, so there you are.  They're perfect for my room, and the colors are great with my chair seat stripe fabric.  I purchased ready made frames and mats at Aaron Brothers.  So very inexpensive.  I really wasn't thrilled with how new they looked.  The wood looked too all the exact same color.  I sanded them a bit and rubbed in a different tone Gaurdsman wood marker here and there to add age.  That was some serious DIYing for my house.

I'll have LOTS more to share with you next week.  Things will be crazy at my house until then...

Now go check out these busy ladies!
