Nitik II from China Seas, Quadrille

2.27.2014

This is Natik II from China Seas, Quadrille in Jungle Green Brown on Tint.  I've been thinking about this print after having posted the image below on Tuesday.

I think it's a fantastic print that looks so good in all of its colorways and in every application imaginable.  Below are images via quadrillefabrics.com. They were taken between 2008 and now. This print, whether used in fabric or wallpaper still looks so fresh to me.

I especially love it paired with the Henriot Floral as shown in the 3rd and 4th images.  Quadrille does these two prints in many gorgeous colorways, but I'd be thrilled to see a pink and red combination added.  What a gorgeous, happy bedroom that could create.

OK, don't laugh....I live in NJ (that's not the funny part, well maybe) but I have never heard of Southern Accents. I love all things 'China Seas'.

Love Quadrille and China Seas! They have a gorgeous website (with tons of photos showing their fabrics IRL-- so smart!) I did their Veneto in Apple green on the (reupholstered Aidan Gray) dining chairs in the dining room that's on my website. (you can find it in my portfolio, near the bottom, if you're curious). I have to take some more close up images of it. best, Laurel

ps: sorry, I can't sign in with my website/blog because open ID does not work. (believe me, I've tried and tried and it's a known bug) Some blogger blogs have a place to put your name/url, but I don't see that here.
