Polyvore Addiction

2.22.2014

Hi there!  I hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend.  It couldn't be a more fantastic day here in Dallas, and I'm about to leave the house and enjoy being outside a bit.  First, I have to share my new addiction.  Polyvore.  Oh. My. Goodness.  I know lots of you are already on and are creating these boards, but I just began.  It's so much fun!  My only problem is that the "publish" button isn't highlighted and I can't take my boards out of draft mode.  If anyone knows anything about this issue, please share.  You can follow me on Polyvore here to see more about these items, and hopefully very soon my boards will be showing up!

I wanted to create a board with Susan Skelley's painting, "So Groovy Now." I've always loved the look of combining colorful abstract art with traditional decor.  Do you like that look?  Are you on Polyvore?  Follow me and I'll follow you back -- this is FUN!

I am addicted, too. I just started, and I'm sorry I can't help you with the 'publish' issue. It is a whole lot of fun. My daughter is my tutor.

Hi Jennifer,
I'm on there, but haven't done a whole lot with it yet. I'm so inundated with all of this stuff. Between blogging, pinterest, fakebook, google++++++, lol... oh and yeah... my interior design biz. But there seem to be people who do all of this and more. (I suspect they have help? haha) But, I love polyvore and it's a great tool to make boards for clients. I think it's also a great way for a young interior designer who doesn't have much in the way of a portfolio show prospective clients what he/she is capable of.

I'm sorry, I wish I could help you with your tech difficulties. What sometimes helps me is to google the problem and usually somewhere, someone else has gone through the same thing. Best, Laurel

ps: I'm following you! :]

Jennifer - Saw your Polyvore board on pinterest today and it got me excited. I'm having my own mini-problems with Olioboard - and, even though I can't remotely help you with your problem, it sounds like I want to join you! Looks like it might be easier than....hmmm...what did Linda just learn? Geez - this old girl can't even remember what it is that Linda just blogged about (and I wanted to learn). So sad....
Laurel - I'm in the EXACT same boat as you! Struggling to keep up with all of this stuff!
I'll try and have fun with Polyvore this weekend and follow you and Laurel! :)

Great board. I started polyvoring to create gift guides during the holidays. It is really fun, I wish I had as many tools/ as much creative freedom on blogger. Did you "save draft" before trying to publish? That may do it. I'll go on and see if I see anything else.

Maybe you got a link to confirm in your spam box and haven't yet? Only a guess.....

Hello! I was having the same issue! Turns out, if you have more than 50 items in your set, you cannot publish! That includes words as well Hope I helped!
