Yes to; Happy, fun, welcoming, refreshing.

No to; Palatial, quirky, opulent, or showplace.

Happy, hip, refreshing, quirky, comfortable, welcoming, unique, are the ones I like.
I would be embarrassed if someone referred to my house as a showplace.

Happy, fun, welcoming, comfortable, and cozy are my choices. I would also be embarrassed if my home was referred to as a showplace or opulent but there is no danger of my home being referred to that way!

I'm with Linda and Kerry, I wouldn't like showplace at all. Or opulent, serious or calculated.
Happy, welcoming, colorful and unique are more my speed.

I want my guests to feel my home is welcoming, charming, happy, quirky, spontaneous and cozy. I hope no one EVER refers to it as calculated! xo

I dont want STARK! Happy, cozy elegance would be great!

My favorite adjective is bedecked. I want my house to feel layered, collected, like it's wearing $10M diamond earrings with H&M jeans and a fur coat. Dogs on sofas, crystal chandeliers in the pantry, bone china everyday. Approachable decadence.

So like me, I add a word: personal. Although others might say that is covered by quirky.

Stephen Andrew's "approachable decadence" is a fun concept. Our house is approachable but not decadent!

I wouldn't want start, sterile or serious. 100% positive it's not palatial. Would hope for welcoming and elegant.

Am I a total whole because I would be flattered is someone referred to my home as a showplace? I've actually heard that before .... ;-)

I HOPE that people feel my home is Impressive, happy, hip, edgy, refreshing, quirky, GLAMOROUS, welcoming, fun and serious at the same time, unique, elegant, charming, and kinda cozy....

I would never want a "calculated home" but ALWAYS a curated one.

And apparently I like to describe myself !

I have reveal pics up showing off your print! ;-)
