Mari Robeson for The Pink Pagoda

7.02.2014

I'm beyond excited to share these new watercolors that Mari Robeson has created for The Pink Pagoda shop!  I'm just dying over how fantastic they are for TPP.  She and I have been chatting about this collaboration, and she couldn't have hit the mark more perfectly.

These are gorgeous singly, but as pair they're even better.

This is Juliette.  She's available in Mari's shop, and Mari named her aptly with the headdress in mind.  We decided the zebra she painted for me was Juliette's sister, and I gave my daughter the task of naming her.  Since Juliette is a well known Shakespeare character, my daughter went for another Shakespearian name.  Her all time favorite female character written by Shakespeare is Beatrice, from Much Ado About Nothing, so there you are.

And this is a pillow from Mari's shop.  Isn't it adorable?  Mari is so very talented, and I couldn't' be more thrilled to be working with her!

These watercolors are amazing, stunning work! I personally already worked with watercolors ( because I'm an art student) and I have to say it's not easy but Mari did a great job!

I love Beatrice! My daughter would have given a name from a Nicholas Sparks book. I would have given a name from the Real Housewives series.
