The April/May Adore Magazine is live and is full of breathtaking images. Take some time this weekend to peruse the issue. There is so much here to take in, I'll be back time and time again to be sure not to miss anything in this seriously incredible issue.
Sadie+Stella featured The Pink Pagoda today! I'm so excited to be over there -- those girls have wondrous taste and are FUN. Their blog is a daily must for me, and I'm so happy I can add them in my "As Seen On" list. Please go over there to see the feature.
Monday I was driving past Wisteria on my way somewhere else, and decided to run in for a minute to see what's new. Even though it's less than 10 minutes from my house, I hadn't been there in almost a year. I love the chair above, and the pillow color is so pretty.
This rug is my favorite thing there. The color and pattern are great.
You can see the cute chair back here.
The scale and rustic style of this table wouldn't work in my house, but the man helping me said it's a very popular item and that no two are alike.
This round side table is fun.
The green is much prettier in person, but you can still see that this is a pretty piece.
The last time I was at Wisteria, they had jewelry, but I don't remember seeing clothing. They had lots of colorful tunics and scarves next to the jewelry area.
See anything you like?
I'm wondering how I ever discovered anything new before Pinterest. I've featured artist Kerry Steele before. I admire her work and her taste. She pins the most amazing art onto her Wishlist board. That's how I learned about Charlotte Faust. I emailed Charlotte and she sent me the images above. Her incredibly gorgeous work can be found at Hunter Kirkland Contemporary in Santa Fe, Blueprint in Dallas, and Anne Irwin Fine Art in Atlanta.
All of them are beautiful, but my favorites are the first two. I like the inclusion of the pink and red. Do you have favorites here?
Children's rooms are so much fun. Color and whimsey can be used in a way that isn't always possible in other areas of the house. The Pink Pagoda's sales show that about a third go to nurseries, children's and teen's bedrooms. The photos below show adorable rooms where some of my prints are used. I so very much appreciate when customers take the time to send me photos!
I think the ginger jar and pagoda prints look great with this Serena and Lily pattern.
The punch of bright color on the white is fantastic.
These are some of the prints I have that work well for nurseries, children and teens.
See these and more at The Pink Pagoda.
