Blue and White Thursday - Store Finally OPEN!

6.14.2012

I have two things I want to tell you today.  First, my new store is FINALLY open!  I'll be adding new items all the time.  I have several I'll be adding in the next few days, in fact.  So, keep checking in.  The other thing I'm excited to share is the illustration above.  I needed something that combined my prints and the blue and white.  Laura Row, of Spun Sugar Paperie, created this for me.  I'm absolutely thrilled with the job she did, and how lovely she was to work with.  Be sure to check out her fabulous store!

To celebrate the opening of the store, I'm sharing a few beautiful blue and white images.  Enjoy, and have a lovely day!

Congratulations! I love the image Laura did for you! My aunt is an interior designer and when she was younger she did a watercolor of everyone of her interiors for her clients. They were beautiful and I always thought a wonderful gift to the homeowner. This reminds me of those!

Have you given any thought to making that beautiful watercolor into stationery? I'd love that! Congratulations on your foray into retail!

I just took a peek at the store and I am still drooling! My birthday is in a couple of weeks and I am going to buy myself a blue and white birthday present. Deciding which piece of gorgeousness is the hard part.

I agree! My house already has a good bit of it, but of course I can't resist adding more! Can you have too much blue and white??

I think that's a great idea. I'll pass it along!

Do you have a photo of the tall blue and white vase in the space where you use it as an umbrella stand? I love this idea, but cannot quite picture it. I'm sure I'm not the only one, who would like to see a photo of your entry. Thank you.

Hi Ann, I don't have a photo, but I'll take one and post it. Thanks! Jennifer

I know I'm suppose to comment on your wonderful store - which it is - but I cannot get past the gorgeous watercolor...such a talent!!

Just realized half of my comment didn't send. How do you keep from buying it all yourself...lots of self control I imagine. Beautiful pieces and wishing you great success!!
