Charming in Connecticut

6.18.2013

These images are all via Traditional Home's feature of this charmer in Connecticut.  I adore it.  If given the choice, would you prefer grand and palatial, or understated and charming?

I am drooling over those round gold mirrors. I think I would like charming but big enough to hide from everyone...except the dog.

Looks so inviting & oh so relaxing. Coveting the cobblestone porch floor. Oh & that coral dining room peeking out from the back of the living room adds that bit of sophistication & formality that I have to have for nothing else than for familiarity sake. Hard to totally leave my comfort zone completely.
This is my vibe for sure!
Great post!

That is serene. I would live in any of the spaces. Love the colours. Thanks for posting the photos and feel free to drop by me too soon.

Understated and charming. And I'm living it. We moved out of a 4500 sf
1904 Victorian to an 1800 sf 70's ranch. Understated, yes. Charming, we're working on it!

I am an understated and charming kind of gal, Always have been, always will be. Give me a cottage or a sweet bungalow and I am at home. This home you profiled is so lovely Jennifer, it is just PRETTY!!
