I saw this light fixture the other day on Pinterest. Linda, of My Crafty Home Life, had pinned it and it caught my attention. It's from Charles Edwards, and I wish I had a place for it. As I was perusing the Charles Edwards site, I came across some beautiful lanterns. Mine, below, is in the entrance hall, and came with the house. I'd love to replace it, but it's not at the top of the list. If my husband knew I wanted to replace it, he would be bewildered. He'd think ours looks okay, and it's not broken. Which is actually reasonable I suppose. Especially since prices at Charles Edwards are only available upon request. That usually means nothing good. Still, it's fun to look. Which of these would you put in this spot?

hmmmm...I love them all especially the "price upon request". The intricacies in the 4th one are amazing, but the 5th one is gorgeous!!
These are all divine Jennifer, but I think I prefer # 3. I laughed at the comment 'it's not broken' why fix it? Our husbands think alike, although mine has just gotten used to me not listening much to his opinion, sadly. ( unless it's a big purchase!)
Have some fun today.

That's always such a bummer to see 'upon request'. They might as well just say, if you have to ask, its too much money. :) Boy they are beautiful though!
All of them have something special about them, but I love the first one. My husband is the same way....if it was up to him he would still be living in a cave.
Love #3 but the green one is so cool too.
Oh yeah...prices "upon request" are never good!! Haha! I love number 1 and 2!!!!

I really love #4, but they are all pretty.
Your lantern is much better than mine. I do like your replacement examples though.
Hi Jennifer....thanks for the link love. I wish I had room for a few of those. I like the last one just the way it is....and gold.

Hello, Let me say I just found your site and I am enjoying it! I am sorry about your damages and loss from the storm and hope all is getting better.
Now, your current light fixture appears to be a traditional, heavy, well made brass fixture that from the doors, knobs and crown molding in the picture matches your traditional "Nantucket" style home and I love it. If you just wanted a change, I really like #4. --Hope it doesn't have glass in it to clean!
#4!
