Blue and White Monday

via The Foo Dog Ate My Homework  -- That lamp!  And actually everything here.

Beautiful RL Dinnerware

Love these John Robshaw linens

Lulu DK for Matouk -- The navy and white is so crisp and fantastic.

I hope you had a great weekend, and see some things you like here today!  I'm busy, busy, busy purging closets, drawers, cabinets and hopefully even the garage while my daughter's out of town for Spring Break.  If you have any tips for purging/organizing, I'd love to hear!  Especially if you have a secret for how to get through piles of paper while avoiding headaches, unpleasant language and extreme fatigue.

All of these images are fantastic. I love the wall with all the plates. The detail above the doorway is incredible. No advice on organizing without a headache.

You always have the best eye candy.
As for the paper, I sort them into piles but don't combine that with action on the paperwork, just sort. Then another day or after a break, I take one pile and deal with it (phone calls, payments, filing)its much easier broken into chunks.

I love John Robshaw anything! and matouk anything as well :) I'm amazed by that hallway with all the plates in the wall! Very peculiar.

That hall from Alberto Pinto is amazing. I'd be afraid to sneeze and have everything come crashing down!

Yes, we're on spring break too - but this morning we had snow flurries. What? Happy organizing - wish I was better at it!

Well, a professional organizer like myself would probably tell you to hire a professional organizer to help you. You can do this, though. I'd suggest that you create some broad categories and sort the paperwork into those piles like Medical info, Financial info, Kids' paperwork, Bills, Memorabilia, etc. Just don't have too many categories! Then you can go back and refine the piles to see what you really need to keep.
Also, don't forget to take breaks. This type of work is mentally and physically exhausting so you've got to give yourself time to recover.
I'm happy to answer any other organization questions you have and keep up the good work!

That first Katie Rosenfeld dining room is what I would love to do one day. Modern, eclectic, it and the Robshaw linens!
