Blue and White Monday: Navy Walls

I've been thinking lately about how drawn I am to photos featuring dark walls. I prefer to live with very light and white walls in my house. It's interesting that we can be so intrigued by images that are so different than what we want to live with. I'll be sharing more about this here, Wednesday. Meanwhile, enjoy this gorgeousness.

Happy Monday Jennifer! I am working on a dining room right now and we are going Navy! Cannot wait to see how it all comes together!

I love dark walls in small, cozy spaces. Especially where I can curl up read. Navy is such a classic!

Navy is a classic forever colour.
We use white to highlight the dark pieces of furniture, so it makes sense to use the dark walls as a stage for beautiful light fabrics.

The cobalt tiles look so perfect in the bath - very pretty!

I love navy walls! SO I did them in my living room....but I'm a bit halted at the moment as to how to proceed...I think I want a monochromatic look with the rest of the furniture....but I'm still not 100%. But I have to say everyone loves the blue I chose. It is perfect.

A lot of beautiful here, Jennifer!

I love these, but I too tend toward brighter, lighter walls. My 4 year-old keeps telling me his room is not perfect and he needs dark blue walls so I suspect I'll be coming back to this post for inspiration!

I've been thinking dark walls are interesting, too...with light art or mats.
