Blue and White Monday with The Green Room Interiors

Kim, at The Green Room Interiors, designed this gorgeous dining room for a client, and was so great to let me share it with you -- it's perfect for Blue and White Monday.  I always love seeing blues with wood tones, and it's beautiful here.  Notice that the blues are all different?  They work incredibly together, and their varying shades make the space more interesting.

I've known for years that Kim's a talented interior designer.  Her spaces for The One Room Challenge are always fantastic.  I'm paying close attention here as my dining room is similar (hardwoods, bay window, chair rail, size, ceiling medallion) and mine could use some freshening.

Like Kim's client, I have lots of stained wood.  Breaking it up with white chairs is so effective.  Kim's done a lot here that you'll want to read about.  She's sharing details and more photos on her blog today.  Go here to see more.

I haven't created a blue and white board in such a while.  I saw this blue floral shirt and was inspired.  Wouldn't it be perfect with white ankle jeans and thong slides?  I just may have to succumb to this temptation. These finds aren't meant to work together -- just some pretty blueness to share for Monday : )

I'm also dying over the Smythson bag (#2).  I put this board together on Friday, and when I went to add links Sunday afternoon, it had already sold out at Neiman's.  I found it at mytheresa.com, and I wonder how long it'll be available there.  That blue is heavenly, isn't it?
